Believe it or not, there are quite a few Commodore 64 games out there that DO NOT possess a game ending even though you expected them to have one! How many times have you read the game instructions which tell you that you have to 'reach the end' and eventually find that there is no 'end'?

To save you a lot of time and hassle, the C64endings Team have put together the following list of Commodore 64 games that have no ending (even though you expected one!)

- 1985 by MASTERTRONIC. Info provided in by Gaz Spence (on the LEMON 64 forum) on 27/04/07: the day after (after Level 8, the game makes you replay level 7 after which you're in an infernal loop - the instructions state there are 12 levels, so maybe it's a bug (a coder could perhaps take a look)

- 720 DEGREES by U.S. GOLD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 15/10/09: Once the 4 parks are beaten on level 9, the game just goes on forever and the level number turns to garbage.

- AAAARGH! by MELBOURNE HOUSE. Sent in by Brendan Phoenix on 21/07/08: The levels just loop.

- ADIDAS CHAMPIONSHIP TIE BREAK by OCEAN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/07/09: You can play various tournaments but nothing happens when you win them.

- AFTERMATH by ALTERNATIVE SOFT. Game just ends after 10 levels.

- AH DIDDUMS by IMAGINE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/08/09: Completed the 99th toy box only to see it loop back to level 0.

- ALDERAN by SOFT LIGHT. Sent in by Ivan Smolenski on 20/12/09: you have a YOU WON screenshot at the end, however I don't think it's an ending, it's more like a stats screen (the game is 2 or 3 players only, and you can choose the number of worlds you want).

- AMAZON WARRIOR by NEW GEN. SOFTWARE Sent in by Neil Collins on 20/11/08: Just loops back to the first stage once you have killed the flying dragon-like creatures.

- AMBUSH by VIRGIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 23/01/10: Completed the 255th level and it looped back to level 250.

- AMERICAN 3D POOL by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 11/11/08: Just returns to the title page.

- ANARCHY by RACK-IT. Sent in by Gaz Spence on 14/11/08: just loops back to Area 1 after Area 16

- APB by DOMARK. There are 9 crooks to capture during the game, but even if you catch all of them and they are in jail they just keep coming back. After level 99 the game loops.

- ARCADE FLIGHT SIMULATOR by CODEMASTERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/10/08: Three crappy levels and then back to the first.

- ARCADE FRUIT MACHINE by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 05/06/09: As you would expect, there's no end or point to this game apart from losing virtual money instead of the real thing.

- ARCADE TRIVIA QUIZ by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 05/06/09: If you answer all the questions correctly you get the chance to keep playing or quit the game.

- ARMAGEDDON by OCEAN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 04/03/10: The game loops after approx 12 levels. You are awarded an extra life but the game repeats on the highest difficulty level.

- ARMOURDILLIO by CODEMASTERS Sent in by Neil Collins on 31/05/09: Hacked the energy levels on this one and completed seven levels, only to find it loops back to level one.

- ASSAULT COURSE by ALTERNATIVE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 24/06/09: If you qualify on all the courses, you get to play them all over again. The game keeps rolling forever.

- ASTEROIDS 64 by HAPPY COMPUTER. Sent in by Neil Collins on 14/11/08: Keeps looping back to level 90 after level 99.

- ASTRAL ATTACK by ANIROG. Sent in by Neil Collins on 14/11/08: Stays on level 99 if you're silly enough to play it that long...

- ATOMINO by PSYGNOSIS. Sent in by Ivan Smolenski on 26/02/06: Loops after 999 levels.

- ATOMIX by THALION. Sent in by Gaz Spence on 13/09/09: After the level 30 bonus bonus round the game loops to level 1 without any acknowledgement of completion.

- ATV SIMULATOR by CODEMASTERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/10/08: Once you have beaten the swamp level, the game loops back to the start.

- AUTOMANIA by MIKROGEN. Sent in by Holgi on 17/07/07: After you finished level 10 (The Rolls Royce) it loops without a message to level 1.

- AXIENS by ALTERNATIVE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 15/01/10: 99 almost identical levels before the level number turns to garbage. Crap.

- AZTEC CHALLENGE by COSMI. Sent in by Sebatianos on 05/06/06: After the final level (hop, skip and jump), the game just loops back to the beginning.

- BADLANDS by US DOMARK. Sent in by Neil Collins on 26/07/08: You have to do all the courses again backwards - only to find after that, nothing happens!

- BAGIT MAN by AARDVARK. Sent in by Neil Collins on 29/01/09: Once you clear the mine of gold, you are sent back to the start again.

- BARMY BUILDERS by OCEAN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 07/07/08: Loops back to level one after you complete the eight levels.

- BASKET MASTER by IMAGINE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 29/01/09: Beat the computer on the highest skill level (in the lowest scoring game in basketball history). Nothing happened. You just go back to the title screen.

- BC BILL by IMAGINE. Sent in by Holgi on 17/07/07: I played until Level 110 and than I gave up.

- BEACH BUGGY SIMULATOR by SILVERBIRD. Complete Round 8 and you go straight back to Round 1!!

- BEACH HEAD 2 by US GOLD. Info provided in by Kobayashi (on the LEMON 64 forum) on 03/03/06: Nothing happens after the knife fight. The game just ends as if you have died!

- BEDLAM by GO!. Sent in by Brendan Phoenix on 08/08/08: Played on Warp through 99 levels - back t the start without an ending.

- BIG MAC by MASTERTRONIC. Sent in by C64endings Team Member, Brendan Phoenix on 05/12/07: Loops forever.

- BIONIC GRANNY by MASTERTRONIC. This game just gets faster and faster and is never-ending!

- BLACK HAWK by THORN EMI. Sent in by Neil Collins on 29/01/09: 32 levels of garbage that loops back to level 1 on completion.

- BLADE RUNNER by CRL. Sent in by Juan Manuel on 26/12/07: just starts over. I won the game a couple of times. The game is exactly the same, you have to chase the replicant through the street. The last replicant is the most difficult because he/she keeps running along the back wall, but everything else is the same. I'm sure there is no ending screen nor music. I don't know if you were "awarded" one short line in the same game screen for a couple of seconds before the game started over, but that was it.

- BLAGGER by ALLIGATA. Sent in by Neil Collins on 29/06/07: the game just loops back to level one.

- BLASTEROIDS by IMAGEWORKS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/08/09: Once you beat the large sprout-looking alien at the end, you get sent back to the start and have to do it all again.

- BLUE BARON by ZEPPELIN. After Mission 12 is completed, it just goes back to mission 1 :(

- BLUE PRINT by COMMODORE. Sent in by Holgi on 17/07/07: there is no ending. You play the first three levels and then the difficulty level will change. The first three levels will appear than in different order.

- BMX FREESTYLE by CODEMASTERS. Info provided in by Neil Collins 05/02/09: Completed all 11 events a few times over. Doesn't seem to be an ending. I'm pretty sure there's no end to the Spectrum version either. Checked the code too. Can't see anything in there.

- BMX RACERS by MASTERTRONIC. This game just gets faster and faster and is never-ending!

- BMX NINJA by ALTERNATIVE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 24/06/09: Beat the seven gangs up, only to fight an eighth gang for an extra life and then....... yep...... back to the start.

- BMX SIMULATOR by CODEMASTERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 15/07/08: Game restarts after level course seven.

- BMX SIMULATOR II by CODEMASTERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 24/06/09: Beat both the regular and the expert versions (Quarry racing). There is no ending whatsoever. After five courses the game goes back to the title screen.

- BODY SLAM by FIREBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 22/01/09: No ending to this pathetic wrestling game. Once you beat the computer opponents you just get a 'game over' message. Truly terrible game this.

- BOOTY by FIREBIRD. Sent in by David Craddock on 16/04/08: David sent in the ending, but once you collect the final key the game reverts right back to the start! No ending :(

- BOMB JACK by ELITE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 12/12/08: Zzap64 said there were 40 levels. I played on further than that, but still no ending. It just repeats the same sets of levels over and over.

- BOMB JACK 2 by ELITE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 12/12/08: It loops back to level 0 once you pass level 99.

- BOMB MANIA by LK AVALON. Sent in by Vinny Mainolfi on 24/07/10: Got to level 123 and then it goes back to level 1 without any acknowledgement.

- BOMBUZAL by MIRRORSOFT. Sent in by Neil Collins on 08/02/10: 130 levels which loop back to the first on completion.

- BONGO by ANIROG. Sent in by Neil Collins on 15/07/08: Loops back to level one after level 6. I'd like to have a pint with whoever did the loading picture. He wants locking up I tell you. What a loon...

- BOULDER DASH by FIRST STAR SOFTWARE. Sent in by Vathism on 21/01/06: The Boulderdash games are never-ending!

- BOULDER DASH III by FIRST STAR SOFTWARE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 23/02/10: Beat all 16 caves and it looped back to the first one but the difficulty increases. Once you reach difficulty level 5 it just keeps looping on that difficulty level forever.

- BREAKTHRU by US GOLD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 26/07/08: Loops back to level one.

- BRISTLES by FIRST STAR. Sent in by Neil Collins on 11/11/08: Between levels you get a word or two - which forms a few sentences of advice. Once you beat level 48 the game loops back to level one without any indication of completing the game.

- BUCK ROGERS by US GOLD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 08/02/10: Nine levels which loop back to the first on completion.

- BULLDOG by GREMLIN GRAPHICS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 30/06/09:  25 levels of boring blasting only to find it loops back to the start but the level number stays at 25.

- BUMP N RUMBLE by STREET HASSLE. Sent in by Neil Collins & Vinny Mainolfi on 01/02/10: The game just seems to go round and round from level 5 onwards...

- CARGO by FIREBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 24/02/09: Completed all the levels, then completed them again with reverse controls only to find it goes back to the start again. Also checked the code. There is no ending to this one.

- CARNAGE by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 13/10/08: Just keeps going forever. Loops back to level one after level seven. The championship points keep adding up and the tournament never ends.

- CATABALL by ELITE. Complete Level 8 and you are taken to Level 1, again!

- CAVE FIGHTER by BUBBLE BUS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/10/08: Loops to level one after level thirty-one.

- CHALLENGER by MASTERTRONIC. Sent in by Neil Collins on 20/07/09: Once you have beaten the last level (Louisiana), you loop back to the first level (Vancouver).

- CHAMELEON by ELECTRIC DREAMS. Sent in by Brendan Phoenix on 26/05/09: Just been playing through this with infinite lives. Once you complete the 4 element levels ( fire, earth, air & water ) you are sent a level called 'limbo'. I completed this and was then sent back to the fire level! Read the Zzap review and it mentions that the limbo level is the last one - so looks like this has no ending.

- CHAMPIONSHIP 3D SNOOKER by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 09/06/09: Just won the tournament and nothing happened. You get the option to print out the final standings in the tournament (why?!?), before it restarts.

- CHAMPIONSHIP SPRINT by ELECTRIC DREAMS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/07/09: Just completed the eight courses which loop continuously.

- CHICKEN CHASE by FIREBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 26/10/09: Unfortunately it just keeps going forever.

- CHOPPER COMMANDER by ZEPPELIN. After wave 99, it just goes back to wave 1 :(

- CIPHOID 9 Monarch Software. Sent in by Neil Collins on 05/03/10: Completed 99 levels to make sure there was no ending to this one and it looped back to level 10.

- COBRA by OCEAN. Sent in by Inge & Brendan (via the forum) on 09/05/08: Game just loops back to level one. Not as much as a well done!

- CODENAME MATT II by DOMARK. Sent in by Neil Collins on 10/07/09:  There are eight waves which repeat - up to a total of 255, and then guess what ? It restarts at wave one.

- COLLAPSE by FIREBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 22/01/09: Took a while to beat level 96, only to find it loops back to level 1. 

- COMIC BAKERY by IMAGINE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 20/05/08: Game keeps going up to level 99 - then back to 0.

- COSMIC CONVOY by TASKSET. Sent in by Neil Collins on 14/05/09: Game keeps looping forever. I kept playing until my score looped back to 000000.

- COSMIC PIRATE by PALACE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/08/09: Once you have completed all the level classes up to level 'O', it loops back to class 'A'.

- COUNTER FORCE by CRL. Sent in by Neil Collins 06/10/08: Loops after level 10.

- CRAZY BALLOON by SOFTWARE PROJECTS. Sent in by Inge Pedersen on 16/02/09: After level 26, it starts at level 27 which is the same as level 1. This repeats at level 53.

- CRAZY CARS by TITUS. Sent in by Brendan Phoenix on 27/05/09: Completed all 3 courses with all cars available - no ending

- CRAZY CAVEMAN by MERLIN. Been playing this for a while and no end is in sight - the enemy attacks just loop, rolling boulders, dino's, dodo's and terrordactyls - and repeat. From 1983, looks like one of those early titles which is never ending.

- CUE BOY by CODEMASTERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 26/06/09: Seems as though the C64 doesn't have a tournament mode like the Spectrum version. I beat the computer opponent and nothing happened.

- D -

- DALEY THOMPSON'S SUPERTEST by OCEAN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 05/03/10: It just keeps repeating the events over and over once you hit the highest qualification settings.

- DANDY by ELECTRONIC DREAMS. Finally put to bed by the C64endings Team on 15/01/10: Neil: I completed this approx 20 times and played every version available. I'm pretty sure there's no way of entering the answers to the riddles and I'm also sure there's nothing else we can do with it.

- DANGER FREAK by RAINBOW ARTS. Info provided in by Brendan Phoenix 06/07/08: Just played this through to the end - after completing the final level you are met by the same mid game screen as all the other levels which proclaim 'well you seem to be a real stuntman'. The game then goes to the highscore table.

- DAVY: KING OF THE WILD FRONTIER by CASCADE. Info provided in by Neil Collins 30/01/09: Saved the girl, only to find you get surrounded and thrown back to the start on a higher difficultly level. If you beat it again, nothing happens at all - you just go back to the start of level one.

- DEADRINGER by ARIOLASOFT. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/08/09: Eight almost identical levels and you stay on the eighth one forever.

- DEATH RACE 64 by ATLANTIS. Sent in by Brendan Phoenix on 10/01/09: Object is to pass 70 cars in 80 seconds which I managed to do without cheats - all I got was an extended play with more cars on the road.  Unable to complete this level, but good possibility it just continues to loop

- DEATHWISH III by GREMLIN GRAPHICS. Info provided in by Brendan Phoenix 21/05/08: Been playing this for a while and can see no ending in site - had a look on the Lemon64 forum and the opinion is the same on there that this game does not have an ending.

- DECEPTOR by AVANTAGE. Info provided in by Inge Pedersen 04/06/08: On the end of Level 4, there is a boss (the same dude that gives you the mission in the first place). After you have finished him, the game loads a Level 5, which just seems to loop.

- DIG DUG by ATARISOFT. Sent in by Ivan Smolenski on 26/02/06: Loops after 99 levels.

- DINKY DOO by SOFTWARE PROJECTS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 08/07/10: There are 15 levels to beat which loop back to level one once beaten.

- DJ PUFF by CODEMASTERS. Info provided in by Brendan Phoenix 06/07/08: Found a trained version with a level skip - 5 levels and it went straight back to level 1. As a double measure I played and completed the final level - end of level boss appears, defeat him and the it just goes back to level 1. Disappointing from Codemasters considering the CJ games had ok little endings.

- DORIATH by VIRGIN. Sent in by Inge Pedersen on 08/08/08: Apparently there is no real ending on this game. You defeat the ice dragon and cannot leave the final room.

- DRAGON HAWK by CREATIVE SOFT. Sent in by Neil Collins on 24/06/09: This Joust clone has no ending to it. Beat the dragon, and it's back to the start.

- DRAGON'S DEN by COMMODORE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 08/01/09: The game has a few silly interludes between levels, but the game just keeps looping back to the start with the difficulty increasing. I beat it about 20 times to see if anything happened but it didn't.

- DR. MAD vs. THE TOPSY TURVY MOON MEN OF MARS by DIRECT DESIGNS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 06/11/08: Once you beat the creature at the end it just returns to the title page.

- DROPZONE by US GOLD. It may be an arcade game, but I feel that it still needs a game ending. Archer MacLean was kind enough to confirm to me that the game does NOT possess a game ending.

- DUCK SHOOT by MASTERTRONIC. Sent in by Neil Collins on 02/09/09: Ninety levels of agony followed by level 00 as the level counter loops back to the start.

- E -

- ELEKTRA GLIDE by ENGLISH SOFTWARE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 20/05/08: Just rolls on and on forever... I went around about 10 times... nothing!

- ELEKTRIX by PLAYERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 06/07/09:  Played 99 levels of this one only to find it looped back to the first.

- EMLYN HUGHES INTERNATIONAL SOCCER BY AUDIOGENIC. Sent in by Neil Collins on 28/08/09: Won the league and cup on the highest skill level. The game just stops and you have to restart the season. You can view the cup final result and the final league standings from the menu, but there's no end sequence or message.

- ENCOUNTER by NOVAGEN. Sent in by NPI on 28/10/08: It goes on and on and it never ends

- ENFORCER, THE by THE POWERHOUSE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 13/08/08: After level 20 it just goes back to level one - no indication of you completing it whatsoever.

- ESCAPE by NEW GEN. SOFTWARE Sent in by Neil Collins on 31/05/09: Once you have collected the axe and escaped the maze, you get to enter your name in the high-score table.

- ESWAT by US GOLD. Info provided in by Brendan Phoenix 06/07/08: I had a crack that crashed first of all - straight after I had the suit - I was stuck on a window ledge and couldn't move. The next one I played all the way through and all the end of level guardians are the same as the arcade version - but afer the final level - nothing!

- EUROPEAN SOCCER CHALLENGE by PLAYERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 05/07/09:  You only have the option of playing a friend or against the CPU in a single match. I beat the computer on the hardest skill level only to see the game return back to the title screen.

- EXODUS by FIREBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 06/08/09: Only three levels which repeat over and over. You need to shoot 50 aliens to reach the next level, where the game speeds up. I clocked the three levels over ten times to check that there is no ending. It keeps looping forever.

- F -

- F1 TORNADO by ZEPPELIN. Don't bother playing this one as it just goes round and round and round and... 

- F40 PURSUIT by TITUS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 22/08/08: Just keeps looping the same tracks over and over.

- FANTASTIC SOCCER by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 03/06/09: You can only choose to play single matches against a handful of teams. Once you beat them, it's game over and back to the title page.

- FIREMAN SAM by ALTERNATIVE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 24/06/09: Completed all the missions and the game just starts over. Same as the Spectrum version.

- FIRE TRAP by ELECTRONIC ARTS Sent in by Brendan Phoenix on 12/01/09: used a trainer for a level skip and it just goes back to level 1 after level 16.

- FIRETRAP by ELECTRIC DREAMS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 14/08/08: After 16 levels it loops back to level one. Groan...

- FIST FIGHTER by ZEPPELIN. Sent in by Neil Collins on 03/06/09: I beat all five of the poor opponents and nothing happened. I checked the magazine reviews too and they confirm there is no ending.

- FIVE A SIDE FOOTY by SILVERBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 22/01/10: You can only play a single match against the computer. No options or change of difficulty level. When you win the game just returns to the title screen.

- FLYING SHARKS by FIREBIRD. Sent in by Neil Collins on 31/07/09: Completed a few versions of this. There is no ending. Loops back to level one. The docs on the Nostalgia cracked version also confirms that there is no ending.

- FORBIDDEN FOREST by COSMI. Info provided in by Kobayashi (on the LEMON 64 forum) on 03/03/06: Little dance as usual then goes back to level 1 but much harder. 

- FOX FIGHTS BACK by IMAGEWORKS. Info provided in by Kobayashi (on the LEMON 64 forum) on 03/03/06: There's no end. At the end of each level it says "Good Hunting Level [level number] Cleared"  Got to level 10 and thought it can't go any further, surely. When I finished that level it said "Good Hunting Level A cleared".

- FRAK! by STAT SOFT. Sent in by Neil Collins on 17/07/08: Loops back to level one after level six. Fraking rubbish.

- FRUIT MACHINE SIMULATOR by CODEMASTERS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 03/07/09: As expected, there's no point to these games apart from registering a high score.

- FALL GUY, THE by ELITE. 22/12/09: After Level 9, the game level counter goes a little strange and starts displaying unconventional characters. It looks like the programmer never envisaged anyone getting passed this level!

- G -

- GARY LINEKAR'S SUPER SKILLS by GREMLIN GRAPHICS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 30/06/09: This was a nasty one. Most of the cracks out there (including the trained one), fail to load up part two of the game. Managed to find a working, uncracked version. Battled through all the events only to find that the last section keeps repeating until you fail or run out of energy. All you get at the end of this one is a final score.

- GARY LINEKAR'S SUPERSTAR SOCCER by GREMLIN GRAPHICS. Sent in by Neil Collins on 30/06/09: I used to love this game as a kid. Scoring overhead kicks from your own penalty area. Insane. Unfortunately there is no point to this game apart from beating a friend or playing a computer team.

- GAZZA II by EMPIRE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 23/07/09: An improvement on the original football game, but there's no tournament or end screen to this. You simply play a match and then return to the title screen.

- GATEWAY TO APSHAI by EPYX. Info provided in by Cybergoth (on the LEMON 64 forum) on 14/05/06: It keeps repeating level 8 once you get there.

- G.I. JOE by EPYX. Info provided in by Cybergoth (on the LEMON 64 forum) on 14/05/06: after a while imprisoned badies just escape from prison, so it's not possible to beat them all.

Update from K-J-N on 14/05/06 (on the LEMON 64 forum): There is a fun reason for this. From this interview with Jeff Johannigman, programmer of the C64 version, at the Epyx Shrine:

Why is the game never ending?
"As for why the game has no end... Now THAT is an interesting point. When I first came to Epyx and they put me on the GI Joe project, they said "This is not a game. It's an ACTIVITY TOY." "Activity Toys" were Epyx president Michael Katz's idea (Katz came from the toy industry), to make products that were more open-ended, less goal oriented. I asked the other designers, and they all came to the same basic conclusion - "design a game, just don't have an ending."

- GLADIATORS by ALTERNATIVE. Sent in by Neil Collins on 14/08/08: After level 8.1 is complete, it loops back to 1.1... Very poor indeed.

- GLORY QUEST by LOADSTAR. Sent in by Neil Collins on 25/07/10: The game crashes on level 69. The amount of enemies on screen causes the code to overload and crash. The instructions also state that the only point of the game is to get a high score. So there's definitely no end to this one.

- GLUG GLUG by CRL. Sent in by Neil Collins on 01/06/09: It just keeps going up until level 99 and then restarts.

- GODS & HEROES by ALPHA OMEGA. Sent in by Neil Collins on 17/07/08: Loops back to level one after level fifty. What a load of crap.

However, there is a screen after level 9 showing Mario as 'out for lunch'. Not sure if that qualifies as an ending.

After 3 1/2 hours of playing, I was at level 99 (which never increased), with 99 lives and 999,999 points. (Or was that 99,999? Anyways.) So I tried dying, and made it down to about 40 lives left when my old black-and-white teevee gave out on me. *sob* It had never been on for that long in one sitting before. Still a great game to play. Possibly even better for not having any ending, just getting more and more enemies and cans to pick up and .. stuff. And music I can still remember. *brr* Sticky, clingy, bouncy music. Help! 

- PARADROID by HEWSON. Sent in by Edvard Kramer: "I finally killed the very last remaining rogue droid on the spaceship. And immediately had to start with the old .001 influence device from the very beginning of the game. No trumpets of victory. Not even a cold handshake from the fleet commander."

Update from Craig Grannell on 15/01/06: Your Paradroid listing isn't entirely accurate. What happens when you complete a ship is you get put on to the next one, which is harder. After clearing "all" of the ships, you end up in a loop, constantly being put back on a ship called something "puntastic" like "Itsnotardenuff".

There are only a few levels to beat, which repeat over and over. I played it a few cycles around and there was no ending to be seen. It loops forever.

Except from the hires pic, there is no actual ending. ie: a) When you get killed, the game presents you with an up-scroller. b) When you finish the game, you get the picture of the mansion for a few secs, and then the game jumps to the same up-scroller as a).

Boo.

- ZYRONS ESCAPE by KELE LINE. Sent in by Gaz Spence on 06/11/08: On collecting the 39th (and final) key next to the exit, the game seemingly crashes then after a few seconds goes back to the title screen. I thought maybe I was playing a bad crack, but the highscore is recognised when starting a new game so looks like it's supposed to happen that way.
