> WAY OF THE EXPLODING FIST by Melbourne House

Played through by Vinny Mainolfi

When someone says to me "so you STILL own a Commodore 64... what games do you play?", I always start my reply with "Way of the Exploding Fist". It's definitely in my Top 3 all-time favourite Commodore 64 games. The graphics, sound and game play are amazing - especially for a game created back in 1985. It's still a challenge to play and really comes into its own when you play a two-player game.

So without further a do... if you haven't already seen all the screens, then here they are...

Screen 1

Screen 2

Screen 3

Screen 4

Screen 4 - End of Level Boss (Bull)

Screen 4 - Kicked his Ass!

HOW WAS IT PLAYED?: I played through it! No cheats at all! ;-)

  • Vinny: Only four screens, but there's still a lot to it. A lot of fun - especially in two-player mode.
  • Brendan Phoenix: The graphics were a wow back in the day and still look good now - the tunes are great - I love the slow / chilled atmospheric track.

Reminds of the April Fool you did on this a few years back! << HERE IT IS >>
  • Andrew Fisher: Still looks and plays great after all these years.
  • Andy Vaisey: I'm in complete agreement with everyone here. A cracking game that still holds it's own today.

FINAL SAY: Though it doesn't have that many screens, it's still a fantastic game!

RATING: 9 / 10
