Here's another one of those games that I had never seen before until I went routing around Gamebase 64. I'm not too sure if this was a commercial release but it certainly has an air of a Mastertronic or Firebird title. This game is great fun to play and very addictive. Fortunately, it has a fantastic game ending ...

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? I'm a cheat, I'm a cheat, IIIIIIIIIIIIII'm a cheat. Thanks to Skid Row and Skinhead of Caladan for producing a cracking trainer that allows you to just straight to the game ending. Result!

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once our intrepid hero, Dave, reaches the end of the final stage, a 'congratulations' screen appears that reads, "YOU HAVE PROVED TO BE A REAL HERO. NOW YOU AND SHERLIE CAN LIVE HAPPY TOGETHER THE REST OF YOUR LIVES! YOU ARE IN THE CASTLE. YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR SHERLIE." So, as the end text states, our hero is shown hunting around for Sherlie. He reaches a room in the castle that houses his beloved. All of a sudden, something magical happens and our hero changes from a ball back into ... DAVE the human! Dave and Sherlie are reunited once again in the name of love. Love, literally, is in the air.

COMMENTS: What a cracking game ending: fab music, great graphics, animation, great use of colour, and some end text. I am really impressed with this one and nearly gave it a ten out of ten. There's just something niggling away at me saying that I should only give it a nine. Maybe the only improvement would be some end text/scroller from the programmers. Near-on perfect.
