Now here's a real blast from the past for me. Back in the day, I borrowed this game from a school friend and like it so much that I went out and purchased a copy. My friend then asked me why I bothered wasting my money as he would have given me his copy of the "crap game" for nothing! D'oh! Anyway, needless to say that I spent many an hour playing this one to death and I can proudly say that I completed it WITHOUT cheats. Yes - that's right... WITHOUT cheats ;)

As for the actual game... there's a large map, some basic sprites, bloody annoying music; but for me, it's still fun to play and explore. It's a pity that ZZAP!64 magazine only gave it 60%...

The Princess is finally safe. The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Back in the day I completed it without cheats. Today - I have coded a crazy hack version of the game that gives you 25 extra in-game features - one of which is the ending :) Grab you copy of the crazy hack from the Hackersoft Web site (www.hackersoft.co.uk) and head for the Crazy Hacks page.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you have grabbed the key, rescued the Princess, and then back to the boat, a 'WELL DONE' appears.

• Brendan Phoenix: Really great cheapo title, yes the ending is rubbish, but the trip in getting there was great. remembering the maze, etc.

• Andrew Fisher: Never been a big fan of the game, to be honest - even at a budget price it didn't grab me. And after all that the least they could have done was put in a Willow Pattern bitmap picture (i.e. in the white & blue colours we in the West know as Willow Pattern...)

FINAL SAY: I thought it was an amazing ending... and then I grew up!
