If you owned a software house back in the eighties, you couldn't ask for a better movie franchise to fall into your lap that James Bond. Domark were in that fortunate position of having the game rights to produce the Bond games. So why on earth did they produce an absolute shameful game such as A View to a Kill?! What the hell were they thinking? The game is absolute drivel :( So with that in mind, do you think they bothered producing an ending for it...

Brendan hunted down the final code.

James makes a beeline for the champers...

...which comes flying towards the camera!

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: After much searching, Brendan managed to locate the finale code in a topic on Lemon64.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: It's pretty funny (in a bad way) Bond is in a shower - with his tux on - what the fu*k? He grabs a bottle of champagne and the cork flies off (although it looks like a bullet - I'm presuming its a cork) and hits a pair of bins that somebody is looking through.

COMMENTS:

Brendan: Should be grateful I suppose that it does have a short animated ending sequence - something I did not expect this game to have to be honest. It is also better than the terrible Living Daylights ending that came out a few years later. I think this is a missed opportunity ending, a little longer, more colour, some sound and some text - it really could have been quite good.
Vinny: I am actually astonished! Domark produced an absolutely cack game, but then decided to make a little effort with the ending! I was expecting the maximum of a 'WELL DONE' message and that's all. I really am surprised to see that they have produced something worth seeing - be it a silent and very quick animated sequence.
Andrew Fisher: Played this a lot back in the day but could never get very far in the mine sequence... It's another Tony Crowther no-ending scenario...
Kungfufurby: Bad quality, but to me it's a nice try. What is the real killer is that there is no sound. Bummer.
Matt Rogers: Didn't realise a shower was a black-tie event... It's a nice idea, badly executed - but at least some effort was made.

FINAL SAY: It may surprise a few people!
