Dear god, what is this game all about? I've had it for years but never bothered as I found it very difficult - I think I only ever loaded it up to hear the tune which I used to think was quite good - bit grating now. Anyhow, no idea what the story behind the game is, but it's a split screen affair where you and an opponent need to jump or duck various objects that cross your path as you are forced to traverse a series of scruffy levels.

The sprite-to-background detection is shocking, and it nearly packs up in one or two places where the sprite management is a little naughty.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: In order to complete I turned off the sprite-to-sprite collision and made great use of save states.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?:  Once you complete the final stage, your opponent breaks down in floods of tears. The scene then changes to a static screen showing Twinky and his beloved sharing a love heart. The final message reads: "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE COMPLETED THE GAME!!! BUT CAN YOU DO IT AGAIN?"

COMMENTS:

Web Master: I wasn't surprised to see that this game had a poor ending. It really could have done with a thumping end tune along with a better storyline ending. Couldn't decided whether to give it a score of 2 or 3 and so I have opted with 2.5 ;)

Matt: I was surprised to see an ending, albeit a rubbish one.

FINAL SAY: Very Poor.
