Dear god, what is this game all about? I've had it
for years but never bothered as I found it very
difficult - I think I only ever loaded it up to hear the
tune which I used to think was quite good - bit grating
now. Anyhow, no idea what the story behind the game is,
but it's a split screen affair where you and an opponent
need to jump or duck various objects that cross your
path as you are forced to traverse a series of scruffy
The sprite-to-background detection is shocking, and it
nearly packs up in one or two places where the sprite
management is a little naughty.
Someone has to lose
Big love to Twinky.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
In order to complete I turned off the sprite-to-sprite
collision and made great use of save states.
(Vinny: I have created an ending trainer for this
game, which can be downloaded from
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once
you complete the final stage, your opponent breaks down
in floods of tears. The scene then changes to a static
screen showing Twinky and his beloved sharing a love
heart. The final message reads: "CONGRATULATIONS!
YOU'VE COMPLETED THE GAME!!! BUT CAN YOU DO IT AGAIN?"
I wasn't surprised to see that this game had a poor
ending. It really could have done with a thumping
end tune along with a better storyline ending.
Couldn't decided whether to give it a score of 2 or
3 and so I have opted with 2.5 ;)
I was surprised to see
albeit a rubbish one.
