WEBMASTER:
I remember completing this one many moons ago and
writing a game ending review for my END OF THE LINE
column in COMMODORE SCENE magazine. Since then, I have
had this ending archived on a real C64 5.25" disk but
unfortunately, my disks are starting to whittle away and
become corrupt - as many of you have already noticed!
Amway, thanks to Matt we
can all get to see the ending once again ...

The Final Screen: Dead
Elephants! The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
MATT: Most of the versions knocking about
are corrupted, it seems, and the end screen never
loads, so I had to use the Tape image to complete it -
with unlimited lives and save-states, of course!
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you get to the final level and you've done the
various tasks, you have to place all your gold
into a large set of scales before you are permitted
entrance through the last door. The final screen is then
a brief load away.
The final screen is nice
(see above screen shot) but it isn't going to win any
graphical accolades.
COMMENTS: MATT:
Not really a great ending.
COMMENTS: WEBMASTER: Though this ending
isn't particularly brilliant, it's satisfactory and is
helped by the atmospheric music.
FINAL SAY:
WEBMASTER:
It's worth at least one look.
