I purchased Turbo the Tortoise way back in 1992 from John Menzies. The funny thing is, when I got home and opened the case, it wasn't Turbo the Tortoise cassette sitting there, it was Turbo Outrun! I was seriously peed off that I didn't get the game I purchased, but then I decided to keep Turbo Outrun :) I didn't get to play Turbo the Tortoise until 2008 when I played it for the ending. I'm glad I kept Turbo Outrun. Here's the ending...

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I used a cracked version that allowed me to skip levels :)

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Nothing apart from the above.

  • Vinny: A load of poo.

  • Brendan Phoenix: Another with zero thought behind it. 0.5/10 for the standard message - that's all it deserves. Pathetic.

  • Andy Vaisey: I 'borrowed' this game from a friend and had fun with it for a while, but never completed it. Good job to, because that ending would have irked me a little. Why do developers think that printing "Congratulations" on a screen gives any satisfaction what-so-ever?

  • Andrew Fisher: Turbo the Tortoise is a great little game with some nice touches... such a let-down to see it has a terrible ending like that!

FINAL SAY: A load of ballix!

G.E. RATING: 0.5 / 10
