Here's a fantastic blast from the past. Turbo Outrun was a very successful title that was loved by both the game playing public and gaming media. It projected true quality in home gaming and even today remains a favourite amongst retro gamers. So with such a great game it's inevitable that the ending is going to deliver am air of quality ...

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? I used a trainer produced by Remember that allowed me to go straight to the end sequence. Now that's what I call a cheat :)

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you complete the final stage, you get a black and white picture of our hero and his lady sitting on the bonnet of the Ferrari. A band of small men start playing in the bottom-right of the screen, whilst a small white car drives onto the screen and then off again.

COMMENTS: It's quite a strange ending. I mean, what's the little car for? Why is the band so small? Why is the man and his girlfriend sitting on the bonnet of a Ferrari - are they CRAZY?

Some cool ending music from Jeron Tel, which adds to this arcade ending.
