I used to be a massive fan of this game and I
actually managed to complete it back in 1991. I remember
producing my first ever Game Ending 5.25" disk that I
called, "End of the Line" and Terminator 2 was one of
the endings that appeared on that disk. How time flies
when you're having fun!
Anyway, this actual ending
was supplied by Brendan Phoenix, who cheated all the way
to the end ...

Kill the muvver!

AAAGGGGH! He's back.

Thumbs up for the
team. The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?
Brendan is very much like me: if you can cheat to see
the end then bloody cheat! I think I'll have that
written on my gravestone ;)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the final level is complete,
we get to see the evil T1000 falling into a vat of
molten steel, and then the good T1000 throws himself in
too! This is all done via three images and accompanying
text (see above screen shots). The screens are
accompanied by the title screen music.
COMMENTS: There's not much to say about this
ending apart from the fact that they could have included
a specifically written ending tune from Jonathan Dunn. Instead, they settled
with repeating the title screen tune, which is still a
good tune. It's a shame the
programmers didn't include a movie style credits sequence,
which would have really added to the atmosphere of this
ending.
FINAL SAY:
A standard ending that should have been better.
