Superkid by Atlantis and seen the advert for Skatin'
USA, I thought I'd give the game a bash...
Skatin' USA is definitely
an improvement on Superkid. This time you control the
kid on a skateboard and have to collect the cash
scattered around each level, avoiding or shooting the
villains with your slingshot. Every time you collect
some cash, a letter of the words 'Skatin USA' is
highlighted. Once you have highlighted it all, you have
to make your way to the exit. It's quite a fast paced
game, which reminds me a little of Ghostrider on the ZX
Spectrum. There are six levels to complete - and it's
against the clock so you need to whizz around as fast as

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
Using an lives cheat.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
On exiting the sixth level, you get a 'GREAT SKATING!'
message. You then get a bonus round where you skate a
half pipe against the clock to boost your final score.
Once that is over you get a final congratulations
message from the programmers, the Shaw brothers. The
game then loops back to level one.
