• Completed & Reviewed by Neil Collins

Shanghai Warriors is a Double Dragon style beat-em-up, and very poor one at that. There are three very similar levels to fight your way through. There's not much to say about this game, apart from the fact that it is very poor and instantly forgettable...

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite lives cheat.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: After punching and kicking my way through the hordes of oncoming henchmen, I finally reached what seemed to be a submarine, docked at a harbour. The game then froze and the words 'CONGRATULATIONS, MISSION COMPLETE' were displayed across the top of the screen. The game then quickly jumps back to the title screen.

COMMENTS:

  • Neil: One of the worst endings I've seen for a while. This game and ending blows donkeys... 1/10.

  • Vinny: I have played this game for literally 2 minutes, and get bored very quickly. I found the off/on switch to be very useful ;-)

As for the ending... Shanghai Shite more like!! 1/10 from me too!
  • Andrew Fisher: As Sinatra would say, ain't that a kick in the head!
Poor ending to a very poor beat 'em up.
  • Brendan Phoenix: Old Chinese proverb - play bad game, get bad ending.

FINAL SAY: You are joking right?!? That's it? Give me strength...

G.E. RATING: 1 / 10
