I hadn't seen this game ending for a few years and
it wasn't until someone mentioned it on a C64 forum that
I thought I should add it to the site - it's been in the
offline archive for AGES!
So was it worth the long
wait? ...

Press the FIRE BUTTON to initiate launch sequence; 5
... 4 ... 3 ...

... BLAST OFF! ...

"We have lift off"

Man and beast in total harmony

THE END
SO
WHAT HAPPENS?: An opening screen asks you whether
you would like to BEGIN THE SHUTTLE SEQUENCE or RELOAD
the game.
Pressing the fire button takes you straight to the
shuttle launch pad, which gives you a panning-down shot
of the shuttle as it takes off. The
scene then cuts to a panoramic shot of the shuttle
taking flight.
Watching close by is our hero and his faithful companion
as they wave farewell from a cliff top. The end.
The ending is accompanied by a nice tune by Neil
Crossley.
COMMENTS:
- Vinny: I had forgotten how cool this ending
was. It's another example of the programmers thinking
the storyline through to a satisfactory end. It really
does feel like you have completed the game and that the
story has a close.
FINAL
SAY: Praise-be to the programming team (",)
