> SCOUT by Mastertronic

• Completed & Reviewed by Neil Collins

Scout is a dreadful little horizontally scrolling shoot-em-up / platform game by Mastertronic. It involves jumping your little vehicle from platform to platform (which is very awkward), while blasting aliens, and collecting power-ups in order to complete eight levels. The best thing about the game is the music - which isn't too bad. At the end of each level you are awarded a piece of your ship - and once all are collected you are free to leave this bloody game forever.

Well done!

Well done again!

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite energy cheat.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once level eight is over, you get a final congratulations message and some short text telling you that you can now take off as you have a complete ship. The mission is then over and you get to enter your name into the high score table.

COMMENTS:

  • Neil: No animation, no picture, nothing ! Just a crappy message. 1/10.
  • Vinny: So is "well done" all one word? It confused me for a second, but I am sure it isn't...

Okay - so as Neil pointed out, nothing really to see apart from a crappy message. 1/10 from me too.

FINAL SAY: Shocking. Mastertronic strike again with another terrible ending.

G.E. RATING: 1 / 10
