Rygar is your typical side-scrolling arcade conversion by US gold. You have to fight through the many levels filled with creatures, collecting weapons and power ups as you go. This is a very tedious affair and the game suffers from very bland graphics and repetitive gameplay.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an energy cheat.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you run to the end of the final level, you get a short message: "CONGRATULATIONS. YOU HAVE DEFEATED THE EVIL TYRANNY".

COMMENTS:

Neil: Rubbish from start to finish.
Vinny: I'm just wondering if the programmers decided to emulate the ending that the arcade provides. It would mean that it was true to the arcade conversion, but turns out to be a cack ending.

FINAL SAY: I suppose I should be grateful there was some acknowledgement of the game ending. Very boring, don't bother... Zzzz
