Now this game takes me right back to the seventies!
My Uncle Tony used to be a massive Roy of the Rovers fan
and would religiously collect the comic each week. I was
fortunate enough to live across the road from him and so
I also indulged in his weekly comic fix. I must point
out here that my Uncle is only about 6 years older than
me and so I was lucky enough to get some of his
hand-me-downs (via my bother).
Anyway, I had never seen
or played this game before and I only checked it out for
this ending review.
"SHOOOOT!"
Full time. Game over.
"Errr... and the
final score is: what-happened-next?"
"Ladies and gentlemen
- the team have now left the stadium."
Totting up the
score...
...and it looks like
The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
Inge did the following to complete this game: changed
one byte to finish part one (tricking the game into
believing that all players were found); and as he lost
terribly at the soccer game, he fixed the result in his
favour. What a cheat! :)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
The game ends; the words "Well done... Full time...
Final score... etc." appear; and then a screen
showing the final scores completes this so called
ending.
