Rik is a roadie for the band 'Alternative Rock'. His
job is to make sure the band makes it on stage in time
to perform at a gig. The game is a collection of mini
games, none of which are particularly good. You have to
drive the band to the gig, carry their gear and setup
graphics are bland with bad use of colour, and the
levels are very difficult and very boring.
happens if Rik does his job correctly? Read on...
"Yeah - f###ing
living the deam!"
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I used a cheat to allow me to skip levels.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
If Rik makes it to the end, you get to see the band on
stage. It's not a very exciting sight - it's a poorly
drawn monochrome affair. A page of text then follows,
which reads: "WELL DONE YOU HAVE MADE IT!!!!
ALTERNATIVE ROCK ARE ON THE LADDER TO STARDOM THANKS TO
YOU... RIK THE ROADIE!!!!"
- Andrew Fisher:
Testing... Testing. Is this thing on? Bad game, boring
- Andy Vaisey:
Alternative Software = RUBBISH SOFTWARE
(other than Soccer Boss, I liked that and I did an
updated version a couple of years ago)
Therefore, Rik the Roadie game and ending = RUBBISH.
FINAL SAY: I expected far, far worse.
