Return of the Jedi was a game I really wanted
to play in the arcade after seeing it in a magazine as a
kid. When I finally played it years later, I was very
disappointed. The C64 conversion isn't a bad one. It
features a few scenarios and vehicles from the film -
the Scout Bike, Scout Walker and Millennium Falcon. The
levels are quite tricky as you are followed up the
screen tie fighters, which make navigating obstacles a
bit trickier. The last level is very frustrating, where
you have to fly inside the Death Star. After a few
attempts, and many screams and swear words, I finally
cracked it...
You reach the end of
the final stage.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I used the force. Sorry, I meant an infinite lives
cheat.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have fired your missiles at the Death Star
core, you have to fly out quickly ahead of the explosion
that follows you. If you make it out alive, you get a
small animation of the Death Star exploding. A message
confirms that the Death Star is destroyed, your bonus is
calculated and the game starts over again.
