Being a massive fan of the Darling Brother's 'The Last V8', it was inevitable that I was going to love playing 'Red Max'. The games have their obvious similarities and were probably programmed using the same engine (no pun intended). So was this game to have the same style of ending as The Last V8?

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I don't think Brendan used any cheats on this one. To be honest, I completed this game in the first few days after it was released. It really wasn't any mean feat; you just have to be patient.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: When you save the final crew member, the level complete tune plays and the words, 'U.R.A. CODE MASTER' appear on the bike's display.

COMMENTS: OMG - what an absolute pile of cack. I really was expecting a great ending with some cool graphics and music, but this really takes the mick! I am truly peed off with this :( They could have included a cool ending tune by David Whittaker - at least!

FINAL SAY: In the words of Brendan Phoenix: "Laugh? I nearly cried!"
