Okay, so I'll come clean and say that I didn't play
through the game but instead I used the "SEE ENDING
FIRST" option that was provided in the cracked version
of this game (",).
Just to give you an idea
of what I had to go through to get this ending: I had to
load the ending into my emulator at the speed of 40% so
that I could freeze the ending just as it was about to
display the first ending screen. If I didn't slow the
emulator down then the ending would load and display,
and when frozen (using my Action Replay Cartridge file)
the screen would corrupt for some reason! Fortunately my
trick worked and you can now download a clean version of
the game ending (",).
So after all that fiddling
(oo-er missus), was it all worth it? ...

WOW! Look at all those jewels!!

Huh?! Not another mission? Or are they referring to
Parasol Stars?

The Team (",)
SO
WHAT HAPPENS?: The CONGRATULATIONS screen is
displayed with some impressive graphics and cut music,
which is then followed by three message screens which
complete the story ... or we are led to believe.
The
messages read, "The adventure on the Rainbow
Islands is over! You have succeeded in getting loads
of treasure. But, just then, the heap of treasures
begins to break down! 'what's this' It is a letter
from the people in Rainbow Islands asking for help"
Another
screen is displayed in a letter format telling you that
there is more to be done - probably in the next
instalment that never arrived on the C64!
The
letter reads, "We are captured by 'The Boss of
Shadow' who turned many people into the Bubble
Dragons! If you get 7 big diamonds of the 7 islands,
you can change us back into human beings !! Please,
please, HELP US !!"
Finally, the programming team names are displayed in
sparkly colours for all to see.
COMMENTS: It is actually a good ending and very
pleasing on the eyes and ears. I was expecting a boring
ending but this was certainly worth seeing.
FINAL
SAY: Go on ... you know you wanna see it! (",)
