Here's a quirky little platformer if ever I played
I stumbled on '1994: Ten
Years After' whilst looking through the Gamebase 64
database to see what I could crazy hack. Lo and behold,
this little game popped up, which at first appeared to
be a pile of cack, but on further inspection it's
actually fun and challenging to play. The thing is, you
know me: I'm a complete cheat! I spent a good two hours
playing with the code and finally ending up with a
full-blown crazy hack that added 20 additional features
to the game. One of those features allows you to jump
straight to the final level, and another key-press fires
up the ending...
Here's level 7...
...and now level 8.
Make your way to the
springboard, and hit the power switch...
...which turns off
the central computer.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I cheated to high heaven! Download the crazy hack from
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have teleported from level 7 to level 8, you
then have to make your way up to the central computer's
ON/OFF switch. Hit the switch and the computer starts to
slow down before stopping completely. The ending screen
appears, which reads: "CENTRAL COMPUTER NEWS BULLITEN[!]
YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ALL EIGHT LEVELS OF THIS
GAME. THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT YOU WILL GET 5000 POINTS
BONUS. THE BAD NEWS IS THAT UNFORTUNATELY YOU WILL BE
SENT TO THE START OF LEVEL 1."
