Narco Police is an action game by Dinamic. The game is set in the future where a large amount of the population are drug addicts. You are a cop with the anti-drugs unit who's mission is to put an end to the problem by infiltrating the drug dealer's HQ. The game is played from a viewpoint behind the main character. You have to navigate a system of tunnels, killing enemies as you go.

The graphics are average and the game play is quite poor. It's seems like the game was a bit too ambitious on the C64 as it is slow and repetitive.

The game is also very difficult. I didn't want to play on after five minutes of action, so I decided to skip to the end.

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using a trainer that allowed me to jump to the end sequence.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: The ending is simply a picture. It's a silhouette of the successful police officers against a sunset with the words 'It was hard, but you did it..'.

COMMENTS:

  • Neil: I don't think much of the game, but at least they put an end on it. It's not much to shout about though. 3/10.

  • Vinny: This doesn't sound like my kind of game... but then ending picture is nice. Pity the ending is lacking in other elements :-( 3/10 from me too.
  • Andy Vaisey: Anyway, the ending is better than your average text screen, but the image looks a little rough. A little bit of work around the edges and on the 'fades' and it would have been a nice little silhouette. As it is though, meh....
  • Gaz Spence: Just your average ending pic but not sure why one of the silhouettes looks like a rabbit.
  • Andrew Fisher: Probably my favourite Dinamic game, even if it did not make much use of the cartridge beyond loading. Still, in general it is nicely presented - including this static end screen. A little rough in places but well drawn.
  • Brendan Phoenix: Great spot - every time I look at it I see the giant rabbit on the left!

Won't be too harsh here. Half decent ending piccy, which is always nice to see.

FINAL SAY: Not a great picture, but at least there's something at the end of it.

G.E. RATING: 3 / 10
