Completed & Reviewed by Vinny Mainolfi

I've got to admit that I have never bothered trying to play through this game; I've had the ending on my system for a few years and I am sure I just used a trainer to skip the levels. I know that it's a superb game to play on the Sega Megadrive. In fact, it's one of my fave Megadrive games of all time! Anyway, here's the C64 ending...

Our hero is surrounded [Press the COMMODORE key]...

...but is able to defeat the villains escape. The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: I think I used a trainer to skip the levels.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?:  Once you defeated the final lot of baddies (just press the Commodore Key to kill them all), the robot changes into a spaceship and flies off. The final message then read: "CONGRATULATIONS. YOU HAVE COMPLETED MOONWALKER."

COMMENTS:

  • Vinny: It's surprising good! The animation is cool, but the ending could have done with an actual ending tune and more info on the storyline.

  • Kungfufurby: The animation of the robot morphing into a spaceship is something you rarely get from a C64 game... though there's not much of a storyline ending after that.

  • Brendan Phoenix: Good morphing animation but just far too short for a decent ending

  • Andy Vaisey: Nice animation (a few more frames and it would have been awesome!), but rubbish background and a god-awful rendition of a simple enough Jackson choon. 5/10 from me...

FINAL SAY: It's worth a look.

G.E. RATING: 7 / 10
