I just don't get it... you'd think that if a
software house consistently produced poor quality games,
that eventually someone would notice; but in the case of
Dinamic Software it appears that they were left to
continue to produce poor releases for our beloved
Meganova by Dinamic is a
horizontal shoot-em-up that lacks any real action or
excitement. When you start to play the game you'll
realise why it was released as a budget game - it should
have been a free game on the cover of Commodore Format
magazine. It's very basic, simplistic and lacks many of
the elements that you would expect from a classy SEU -
which this isn't. Even ZZAP! 64 magazine thought this
game was pants and scored it 32%.
All in all a very poor
attempt at a shoot-em-up game, which means it's likely
that the ending is going to be dire too...
The ship reaches its
final destination and shimmers away...
All of a sudden,
something else appears!
Ah-ha! A car.
Out hero comes
sliding down the stairs...
...flies through the
...and lands securely
in his car.
He then starts the
...and shoots off.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I used a trained version of the game, speeded it up in
an emulator and just let the game play itself! It took
around 30 seconds to get to the ending ;-)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once your ship has reached it final destination, it
disappears and then a car appears. The main character
then comes sliding down the stairs, landing in the car
and then driving off. There's an ending message at the
top of the screen that reads: "HOORAY: YOU'RE A REAL
