I had never heard of this game until I went through
my long list of endings. Also, I didn't actually
play through it to obtain the game ending; I just used a
cracked version of the game and selected the "view game
ending" option (",) But I have since had a
play, and it's a fun little game - even though ZZAP!64
scored it 59%! Still - I have a soft-spot for The Power
Houses games as they do project a sense of innocence :)
So without knowing much
about the game, here is the game ending ...

"Come on ... let's get to the ship"

"Up, up and AWAAAAAY"

Hmmmm ... who the heck is this?

Ah! That all important message (",)
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?
CHEATED! I also created the following ending hack:
-
Load and
start the game
-
Freeze
it
using an Action Replay Cart
-
Press 'M' for
MONITOR
-
Type: G
997B (this
uses the GO command and goes to mem
location: $997B, where the ending is
situated).
-
The ending will
start.
-
If you fancy shortening the ending
by selecting the amount of men that
run to the ship in pairs, then just
enter: POKE 39569,1 (changes it from
5 pairs to 1 pair).
SO WHAT HAPPENS? The
game ending consists of a bunch of spacemen running
towards a ship that is ready to take off. Once all the
men are inside, the ship (see picture 2 above) takes off
and disappears off the screen. All of
a sudden, another smaller ship goes flying by - god
knows who this is - and disappears off to the right of
the screen.
Finally, the "WELL DONE!" screen appears to acknowledge
that the whole game is complete.
COMMENTS:
- Vinny:
I
enjoyed this little ending and was pleased to see that
the programmer, Richard Palmer, had taken some time in
creating an enjoyable ending. The only thing missing is
a thumping, satisfying piece of music to create that all
important game ending atmosphere.
FINAL SAY:
It is certainly worth a look (",)
