I know I have mentioned this before on a Bond game, but if you get given a franchise such as James Bond, you put all your best resources and effort into producing a quality game. So why is it Domark just can't seem to get these Bond games right? They seems to think that pushing out any old cack would satisfy any Commodore 64 Bond fan!

Anyway, another bag-of-shite Bond game with a poor ending...

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Cheats a plenty.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: After destroying the final tanker, the following ending message appears: "CONGRATULATIONS ON DEFEATING SANCHEZ AND SMASHING HIS EVIL DRUG EMPIRE.". This is accompanied by a David Whittaker game ending tune, which is a rendition of 'You only live twice'.

COMMENTS:

Brendan: As per usual with James Bond games on the Commodore, we have a very poor ending.

There were no fireworks - nothing! You destroy the last tanker and the end of game message appears. At least it has an ending tune, however this does not make it even an average ending. 2/10.
Vinny: This ending is far too sparse, with so many possible ending elements missing. I too think it's below average, but I think it deserves 3/10.
Kungfufurby: Except for the tune, the ending is... nothing but mere text.

This actually makes me think that animated sequence from A View to Kill is better than the other James Bond endings... for now.
Andrew Fisher: Yes, it is a poor ending... but I think this is one of the better Bond games on the C64, primarily because it packs all the different levels into a single load.
Andy Vaisey: Not a bad game in my book; full price material maybe not, but if this had been between £4 - £6 originally, it would have been a steal. Guess that 007 license was costly though!

A half decent game doesn't excuse that poor ending though...
