I can't believe how old Lethal Weapon is! It's nearly 20 years since I watched it in the cinema and it only feels like yesterday. Heh-heh... bet I sound really old now :) Anyway - a great film to watch that doesn't really rely too much on the grey matter to get you to the end, which is really how the game plays.

A typical Ocean platformer that has you running around shooting, climbing, jumping, farting - okay, maybe not farting - and collecting. It's an average game that has a few bugs here and there. The game engine kind of reminds me of Hudson Hawk, which was also produced by Ocean...

Just one final task...

...all done.

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: It looks like Gaz used a trainer :-)

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you walk through the exit, the game then loads the final sequence, which consists of some music and a picture of Danny Glover giving the thumbs up with the message reading: "WELL DONE! THE MAGIC CONTINUES."

  • Vinny: Seeing that this was a blockbuster movie, I expected Ocean to really push the boat out on this ending, but it looks like it was a rush-job with no real effort put into it. It could have been so much better.

  • Frank Gasking: Just seen the Lethal Weapon ending, and they've just copied the character from the character selection screen with a thumb graphic on top. Shame, but I guess Ocean were just quickly knocking them out (Or at least the outsourced developers were) and didn't care.

  • Brendan Phoenix: Remember Patsy Kensit looking fit in number 2?

Think there is another ending with Mel Gibson's piccy - exactly the same though. Must be dependent on which character you select.

Never played the C64 version, but it looks pretty tidy. Ending is very uninspired though.

  • Kungfufurby: This ending has no magic in it... so if the magic continues, then where does it? I don't see any here.

  • Andy Vaisey: Lazy game and a lazy ending for a classic film. Shame on you Ocean...

  • Gaz Spence: I think I fell asleep playing this. Dull, dull, dull and the ending is too.

FINAL SAY: I expected more :(
