Las Vegas Casino is one of those fairly pointless games that seemed to suddenly appear from many budget software companies. It seemed as though they wanted to cash in on Britain's fascination with gambling machines. However, this game offers a few other forms of gambling in the shape of casino based games, as opposed to pub fruit machines. You have a choice of a few games, which include Blackjack and Roulette. The games themselves are easy to play as you would expect. The graphics are pretty basic and the game play is very boring and repetitive.

Unexpectedly, this game has an aim - to win $50,000. I was surprised to find this out as these games usually just keep going forever...

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:

  • Neil: I played it until I won all the cash. It didn't take too long with the use of a few emulator save-states.

  • Vinny: I cheated! I hacked the code and jumped straight to the ending: JMP $3629

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: At the end of this game there is a picture. The picture shows a man and woman by a car with a moonlit Vegas skyline behind them. A congratulations message at the bottom of the screen confirms that you have won £50,000 and broken the bank.

COMMENTS:

  • Vinny: A nice little ending screen with a congratulations message and ending ditty. 3.5/10 from me.
  • Andrew Fisher: One of the poorer Zeppelin titles. While I have played various casino games, they never hold my attention for long. A positive that it has an aim/goal, but then quite clearly there was minimal effort put into making the ending.
  • Brendan Phoenix: Not a bad little ending screen and certainly looks better after Inge's fix.

Always a plus when you see an ending in a game like this as you always presume it has none.

FINAL SAY: Although unexpected, it's a little flat.

G.E. RATING: 3.5 / 10
