• Completed & Reviewed by Neil Collins

I know Los Angeles is quite a dangerous place, but it surely isn't as dangerous as the game LA Police Dept makes it out to be!

The game is an Operation Wolf rip off, where you have to shoot hundreds of villains armed with machine guns on the streets of LA. There aren't many levels to beat, but by the time you have beaten the game you will have notched up enough kills to put Rambo to shame.

The final piece of scum is finished off!

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Using an infinite lives cheat.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you have cleaned the final level of villains, a message appears that reads 'MISSION COMPLETE.. THANKS TO YOU... THE STREETS OF L.A. ARE SAFE ONCE MORE.' The game then ends.

COMMENTS:

  • Neil: How very dull. 1/10.

  • Vinny: Tedious game and a very lacklustre ending. 0.5/10 from me.
  • Andy Vaisey: Well, that ending would make me want to commit violence. What a poor show.
  • Gaz Spence: If this was made now it would probably be called Ferguson Police Dept. Like has been said this is a run of the mill Op Wolf clone that offers little variety or originality. The ending should be shot too.
  • Andrew Fisher: Don't think I ever saw this one reviewed or on sale. Don't think I can be bothered to play it or experience another bad ending.

FINAL SAY: Terrible, terrible terrible... Avoid this game.

G.E. RATING: 1 / 10
