I love the Magic Knight series of games by David
Jones. Some people find them annoying, but there is
something about them that really captured my attention,
and it all started with
Finders Keepers. For some reason though, I didn't
actually catch this when it was released, and in fact I
don't ever remember seeing it in the shops. I eventually
got to play it back in 2000 when I purchased an original
from eBay and never managed to completed it. So thanks
to Brendan Phoenix for playing through the game and
revealing the ending for all to see...

The final task is
complete.

Our hero succeeds
once again.

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
Brendan used a solution from an old CRASH magazine
(boo).
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once the Magic Knight escapes via the black hole and
completed his adventure, the screen flickers all sorts
of colours and makes a screeching noise - presumably
simulating travel through the black hole. The ending
message then appears, which reads: "WELL DONE YOU
HAVE MANAGED TO ESCAPE THROUGH THE BLACK HOLE. BUT UPON
REACHING HOME YOU FIND THAT THE OFF-WHITE KNIGHT HAS
BEEN CAUSING HAVOC BY MESSING AROUND WITH THE WEATHER."
The following message is then displayed: "YOU HAVE
ESCAPED FROM THE FUTURE AND ARE HEADING BACK TO YOUR OWN
TIME. TO BE CONTINUED...."
