I love Codemasters of yesteryear. Well, the titles
from the eighties to be more precise. They produced some
quality games, but unfortunately, no one told them that
they also needed to produce good endings because they
were going to be scrutinised two decades later! A fun
little game, but does it fall into the category of 'yet
another low scoring ending from Codemasters'?...

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
Gaz cheated his way to the end :)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once the final scientist has been rescued, the ending
screen pops up with the message: "CONGRATS MAN. GAME
COMPLETE." This is accompanied by an ending tune by Matt
Gray and a line of scientists waving.
COMMENTS:
- Gaz: I actually
played through the levels without skipping any, albeit
with a couple of other cheats. The ending was about what
I expected, no thrills but at least with some redeeming
qualities.
- Vinny:
It's cute; it has a great tune and erm... it's an ending.
Did I mention the Matt Gray tune?
- Andrew Fisher:
Not one of my favourite Codies games, and certainly not
much effort put into the ending... still, at least it's
there.
- Brendan Phoenix:
Well, it's better than some other Codemasters efforts,
do not think it is enough to get into the 5/10 bracket.
The end tune is very short and just loops, standard
wording at the end, nothing to distinguish it really
from a hundred other endings. 3.5/10 for me.
- Andy Vaisey: I
usually like Matt Gray's compositions but I don't think
this is one of his best. Indeed, it sounds like a Last
Ninja 2 cast-off with the tempo ramped up a bit.
Combined with a few measly sprites and the standard well
done type message, overall quite uninspiring...
FINAL SAY: What do you expect from a budget
title? "A LOT MORE!"
