This is one of the first
ever cracked Commodore 64 games that I owned; it was
given to me by one of my school mates. I used to spend
hours playing it because I loved the game play and
simplicity of it all. At no point did I ever think that
it would have a game ending (much like what I thought
about the original Jumpman game)...

Jumpman completes the
final destination.

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I ... erm ... used a level-skip cheat (come on! it's me
you're talking to!)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once Jumpman Jr has completed the final screen and is given
a BIG scoring bonus, the screen changes to show Jumpman
Jr standing within the letter 'O' of the words 'WELL
DONE'. The words are flashing all different colours
whilst Jumpman Junior starts to perform a silly jig.
This is accompanied by a short ending ditty.
COMMENTS:
-
Vinny: This
was a cracking game in its day: such simplicity.
Unfortunately, the simplicity carries through to the
game ending and doesn't attempt to over-perform. If
you compare it to the original Jumpman game ending,
it's a step down, when in fact I would have been
expecting an improvement.
- Kungfufurby:
Pretty fancy Well Done if you ask me, but that's it...
nothing else. Plus, I think the ending tune is taken
from the original Jumpman.
- Brendan Phoenix:
Never played the Jumpman games in my C64 days - even
more shockingly, I still have not played any of them in
these days of emulators!
Ending is pretty pants, but better than nothing.
- Andy Vaisey:
Simple graphics, simple gameplay, simple ending. 1/10.
- Andrew Fisher:
I'd never played Jumpman or its sequel in the 80s
either.
Very simple ending.
FINAL SAY: Very
short and very simple.
