So come on then, let's be honest here ... how many
of you have REALLY played through this game and
completed it? I am edging my bets that NO ONE has
actually collected ALL 165 items WITHOUT using some kind
of cheat.
Before I go on any
further, how on earth did ZZAP64 magazine score this an
overall score of 24%! What on earth were they thinking?
Are they mad?
Anyway, Frank Gasking has been
kind enough to provide us with the game ending, but it
seems that he too is unable to get through the whole
game without cheating (",).
Willy finally makes it to his bed.
Hold on a sec! He doesn't want to sleep. It seems he's
making
a dashfor the door!
Straight through the Landing ...
... passed Macaroni Ted ...
... passed the spackie Jetman ...
... through the bathroom and into a secret room!
The final screen! HOLD ON! Isn't this Manic Miner?!
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:

SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you get onto the bed, Willy automatically walks
back to the beginning and then through to a secret room.
All you get is the opening screen to Manic Miner with
Willy jumping up and down.
COMMENTS: To be
perfectly blunt, this game ending is poor. If we are
expected to play through the whole game and collect ALL
those items then at least there could have been a pot of
gold at the end of the rainbow. Instead, we are
presented with a screen from Manic Miner and Willy
jumping up and down (oo-er). Am I missing something
here? Should there be more?!
FINAL SAY:
It's a fab game to play but unfortunately it has a cack
ending.
