Joe Blade 2 by Players is VERY similar to the first
instalment, Joe Blade.
As before, Joe Blade 2 is set in a 2D flip-screen
environment with the main character having to collect
items and save hostages. There really is no obvious
improvement to the original game, and in some instances
it's difficult to distinguish between the two. In my
eyes it was a waste of a good opportunity to improve on
an already good game, but Players seemed to have been
happy with just churning out a very similar game, in the
hope that it will make a similar, positive impact.
ZZAP!64 didn't think so and only awarded the game 35% -
as opposed to 92% that the original game received!

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I hacked the game with two simple cheats. If you know
how to use the monitor in an emulator or the Action
Replay Cartridge, start the game and then just do the

SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once all your tasks are complete and you escape, the
ending screen appears, which reads: "CONGRATULATIONS.
YOU HAVE PERFORMED VERY ADMIRABL[E]Y IN YOUR CLEANUP OF
THE CITY." This is accompanied by a specific ending
