Here's a game that I first saw back in 1986 when I was on holiday in Italy. There used to be an Italian monthly magazine that released FULL, brand new games on the cover tape! One of the games was Infiltrator, which appeared in a few different versions. I remember getting back to England and showing the games to my mates who didn't believe me until I actually loaded them onto the C64. IT'S FRANKIE HOWARD! "Nay - Oo, Missus." The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? The version I have placed on this page is a cracked version by Nostalgia; it allows you to view the game ending right from the start - along with a whole host of other great cheats.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the game is complete, you are presented with our hero collecting his medal of honour, with the message, "YOU SAVED THE WORLD! WHAT MORE CAN WE SAY?". The crowd applaud you and then the screen flicks over to the 'Mad Leader', who looks suspiciously like Frankie 'oo-missus- Howard! The message here reads, "DRATS! MCGIBBITS HAS FOILED MY PLANS ... THIS TIME! (HA HA DRIBBLE SPIT)".

COMMENTS: It's a cool ending that actually gives the game player more than I expected. It could have done with being stretched out a little as it's too quick. Plus, I felt the need for a game ending tune, but unfortunately you only get two spot effects: a typewriter and the crowd applauding.

FINAL SAY: Worth a look ... but only one. (".)
