Here's a late arrival to the Commodore 64 commercial gaming market, eventually reaching our machines back in 1997. A cracking little game, Ice Guys is full of colourful visuals and jolly sonics - a recipe for gaming success. So with such a cracking little front end, does the backside live up to expectations (oo-er, missus) ...

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? Now honestly, do you really think I could ever complete this game without cheating! I used a fab trainer created by Laxity. To prove it, here is a screen shot of all the cheat options available to me ...

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once the final section is complete, you are treated to a cute story ending that explains the final saga in our hero's epic quest. The sequence consists of words and pictures and is accompanied by a great ending tune. When the story comes to a close, you are given extra points and sent on your way ... or so you think! To complete this superb little ending, the programmers have included a neat movies credit end sequence with some cracking text.

COMMENTS: This really is a cool ending (no pun intended). It fulfils all my requirements for a perfect game ending: great graphics, cracking tune, complete story telling, humour and a great scroller. This game ending has them all.
