Webmaster: It isn't often that I get excited and surprised to see a game ending that I thought would never see the light of day - especially when it's a game that I thought could NEVER be completed! Well it seems that one of our regular contributors, Inge H. Pendersen, has sent me one of those rare game endings.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present the ending to Hero of the Golden Talisman ...

Here's a nice animated piece of the end sequence. The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? Inge told us that he used a number of cheats to get through this one - I don't blame him. Even with cheats I struggle to get passed the first few screens!

SO WHAT HAPPENS? Once you have collected all of the hidden pieces and entered the final screen, you exit the pyramid and your final score is calculated.

Then, the pieces you have collected assemble themselves in the sky above the pyramid. The message, "YOU ARE FREE FROM THE EVIL ..." appears and the sky starts to turn blue. The final message reads, "YOUR CITY IS SAVED...". This sequence is accompanied by a few spot sound effects.

COMMENTS: I was quite amazed to see that someone had completed this game - I had always thought that it couldn't be completed!

It isn't one of Shaun Southern's finest, but it deserves a look. It could have done with an ending tune, but at least the storyline has an ending.
