Nineteen eighty-five was a glorious year: Back to
the Future starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher
Lloyd; Band Aid live at Wembley Stadium; Dennis Taylor
beating Steve Davis to become the World Embassy Snooker
Champion, and finally a whole host of fantastic gaming
releases for the Commodore 64. Not to be left out,
Gribbly's Day Out from Hewson hit the shelves and
certainly made an impact on the gaming community.
Even though the game
appeared to be totally frustrating and very difficult to
play, it still managed to hold its own and stay secure
in the hearts of most Commodore 64 gaming freaks. So
with such a difficult game to beat - did anyone ever
manage to complete it? ...

Gribbly save the
final Gribblet and teleports out.

Thanks for that
[yawns].

The ending message.

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
I know that Ste Re used a cheat to complete this game
and so I searched for a cracked version that housed a
cheat. Gamebase 64 has a cracked version that gives you
infinite lives (nice).

Another cheat for the
collection (",)
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
I'm really not going to waste too much time on
explaining this one. There really isn't much to say or
see (check out the above screenshots).
COMMENTS:
The game is pure quality, but the ending is pure cack :(
FINAL SAY: Don't even bother :(
