Gerry the Germ is a weird game that consists of
several mini games where you control a germ around the
inside of an infected human. Your task is to bring the
human down by infecting various parts of his body. It's
a tricky little game that is very frustrating
(especially the pancreas level - what on earth do you do
there?!?). With a little help from Holgi (one of the
c64endings website contributors), I was able to beat the
game...

The final level is
complete.

Gerry and a heart?

And now a bed and a
human?

What IS going on?

The human lays
down...

... The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
Using an an infinite lives poke and a level skip
supplied by Holgi.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have completed the final level - the heart -
the screen flashes and the end sequence starts. Gerry is
shown on the screen with the word 'VICTOR!' at the
bottom. Then follows a short animation of the infected
man making his way to a couch, where he promptly lies
down. The words 'DOWN BUT NOT OUT' are displayed and the
game restarts once the player hits the return button.
COMMENTS:
An short ugly end, but an end nevertheless.
FINAL SAY: A fair enough end. Playing the game
made me feel quite ill. I'm glad it's over.
