This game reminds me of the classic arcade shoot-em up, 1942. So which came first?

The game isn't particularly great to play and is marred by it's poor controls. It does, however, have some nice visuals and some really cool music by Barry Leitch. I must admit that I too completed the game using the cheats, but I'll leave it up to Brendan to explain the ending...

You reach the end of the final stage and the ending kicks in.

Some nice animation and music.

Time for some credits.

The ship reaches its destination.

Whooooosh! The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: Cheated all the way through with a level skip - I love them!

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: A tune kicks along with some scrolling credits whilst your ship is sailing along in the sky in the middle of the screen. Nice touch at the end as it tips to one side and shoots off into the distance

COMMENTS: Nice ending - faithful to the arcade original - so cannot really be faulted. Toughie this to score - nothing outstanding about it, nothing bad either.

FINAL SAY: Slightly above average.

G.E. RATING: 6 / 10
