The main aim of this game is to obtain four swords and a star, and then approach the 'Gates of Dawn'. Once I had these items and walked up the steps to the gates, various elements like fire and ice started rolling down - you had to bash each one with the corresponding sword. I entered the FINAL room an was suddenly attacked by a hoard of bat like creatures - however, I found out that you drop the star as soon as you enter this room and this is where the end sequence begins ...

The bats disappear in a cloud of smoke.

The star shoots out.

Space appears.

"OI! Who turned out the lights?"

A  humorous rhyme.

The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: No trainer used, so had to battle my way through to the end - took me 2 hours even with darkstar68's help. The mapping was a mare.

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: The bat's go into a cloud of smoke, the walls change colour and the star you dropped slowly rises whilst the chequered wall in front of you opens open up to show you space, and various stars shooting towards you. Various spot FX play in the background. You can either walk towards the opening to jump start the ending or wait and it will appear itself. A little rhyme appears about playing computer games (see above screen shots) with a 'P.S. You Won!' added. The screen turns white with the words 'Time To Wake Up!'

COMMENTS: A lot of games from this era (1985) don't have an ending so I was half expecting nothing. It's not great by any means and they could have had some better words at the end rather than a rhyme about playing Virgin games, but I cant complain - it has an ending and the wall opening up with the star in the sky is good enough for me.

FINAL SAY: I felt pretty satisfied that I made it this far and space was waiting for me!
