Completed by
Stephen Renehan (AKA Retrovertigo)
You'd think that with all the game endings I have
seen over the years, there really aren't going to be an
more endings that will impresses me. Frankenstein by Zepplin
Software is an exception to this rule and certainly
impressed me when Stephen Renehan (AKA Retrovertigo)
kindly sent it in for all to see. Even after owning the
original since the day it was released, I have never
managed to complete it. Over to Brendan ...
STEPHEN: "Have
another one for you here, it's Frankenstein by Zepplin
games. Never played this before and it's actually not a
bad little game (although I did cheat) and I was quite
pleasantly surprised by the ending which is one of the
better ones I've seen in a while."

Egor and the Doctor
enter the lab.

It's time for the Doc
to complete his experiment.

He praises Egor.

And sends him on his
way.

"FREEDOM AT LAST!"

Egor leaves.

The dead corpse rises
to the rafters.

A flash of lightening!

The monster is visible.

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?
BRENDAN:
As Stephen said, no cheats.
SO WHAT HAPPENS? :
The final sequence sees Egor and Dr. Frankenstein back
in the laboratory. Dr. Frankenstein speaks to Egor and
tells him that he has done well. For a reward, Egor is
set free to live life as he wishes. Egor leaves Dr.
Frankenstein to continue with his experiment, which ends
in the creation of his monster. For some reason though,
and this is where the humour comes into it, the monster
thumbs up (",)
COMMENTS: I truly
am impress with this game endings - especially after
only paying £2.99 for the original. The programmers have
definitely thought through this game right to the end.
It has animation, nice graphics, and a story ending -
with a little bit of humour thrown in. The only thing
that is really missing from this game ending is an
ending tune.
FINAL SAY:
Seriously worth a couple of viewings (",)
