Webmaster:
Those of you who tune in regularly to this web site will be aware that we have been trying to get hold of this game ending for a long time now. It wasn't that we could complete the game - it's quite easy after a few goes - but more the fact that the game crashes once you have completed the final stage! Because of this, it was time to call in the professionals and find out if there was anything they could do to solve this infuriating problem. Enter The Ignorance from Nostalgia who spent some time cleaning up the whole game, added some GREAT cheats via a trainer and also ensured that the ending was visible to all.

So, thanks to the NOSTALGIA team we finally get to see the ending once again ...

Ming meets his maker ... or does he?!

Our hero saves the world. The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: When I first purchased this game on the day of its release, I spent a few hours trying to complete it. Needless to say that I finally got to the end and completed it WITHOUT any cheats. I did get to see the ending, but since then I never bothered trying to play it again until a few months back when I wanted the ending again. For some reason, every single copy of the game I had seemed to crash right at the end!! So for the purpose of having the ending for all to see I have included the NOSTALGIA version of this game, which allows you to select the final level (level 3) and then press the COMMODORE KEY to complete the level and view the end - PURE CLASS :-)

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: The final sequence is Flash v Ming. But just when you thought you have killed the bugger, he appears and says, "HA! HA! HA! I WILL BE BACK FLASH".

He then disappears and the screen switches over to the standard 'level intro screen' with the picture of Flash and the spinning planets. The only difference this time is that you have the final game ending message, which reads "THE EARTH IS OUT OF DANGER THANKS TO YOU FLASH. YOU SAVED THE WORLD WITH 24 HOURS,00 MINUTES TO SPARE".

COMMENTS: I know that the ending was nothing to shout about but the thrill for me was FINALLY seeing the game ending again and having the NOSTALGIA team coming up with the goods. It's still a good game to play but unfortunately the ending is a little flat. It could have done with a top-notch Hubbard ending tune and a different screen picture.

FINAL SAY :  Oh well, at least we have put another one to rest (",).
