I am a MASSIVE Jon Wells fan and love all of
his FANTASTIC Commodore 64 games (",); they are pure
class and show Jon's enthusiasm and love for the good
old '64.
I have spent ages trying
to get hold of this game ending, but unfortunately not
long enough to get through the whole game. Fortunately
the man HIMSELF, Jon Wells, came to my rescue and
supplied the actual ending to place on this site! -
THANKS JON (",).
So, without further a do,
here is the ending ...

Our hero has found his
ship ...

... and starts to make
his exit. "We have LIFT-OFF" ...
WHOOOOSH!

It's official; you have
now escaped from Arth!

Our hero's ship sets
off for deep space ...

... and the final end
message appears - The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
You know me; if there's a quick way to the end then I'm
going to take it! Thanks to Jon Wells for providing us
with the game ending file (",).
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Our hero finally makes it back to his ship and hops in,
which is accompanied by some scrolling words, "Off we
gooo!".
The ship starts to fire up
and then takes off, at which point another scrolling
message appears, which reads, "Hey, neat controls."
The ship then darts off to
the right of the screen and the final scrolling message
says, "Faaar our, man!"
A message then appears on
the screen, which reads, "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE
MANAGED TO ESCAPE FROM PLANET ARTH. PRESS FIRE".
Upon
pressing the fire button, a cool piece of FEEKZOID music
starts to play and the screen changes to a cool star
field where our hero's ship comes into view. The ship
darts off into deep space and a final message appears,
"YOU HAVE ESCAPED THE DANGER OF PLANET ARTH AND ARE FREE
TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY ... PRESS FIRE!!"
COMMENTS: It's
obvious that Jon Wells always does his utmost best to
ensure that the game player is treated to a quality
ending - this is one of them! This ending is fun to
watch and great to listen to, and provides a great close
to the game (",).
FINAL SAY:
Jon produces yet another quality product for the
Commodore 64.
