Elvin by Rainbow Arts is a tiny game that appeared
on the wanted list, so I decided to have a quick go to
get the ending. It's very basic in terms of graphics and
game play. You control some kind of bird around a
multidirectional scrolling maze of caverns. The aim is
to get out of the cavern by collecting various items and
putting them to their correct use which eventually leads
to your freedom. It's not a great game as it is too
simple and short, but it plays pretty well.
Elvin finally gets to
the exit...
...and makes a run
for it...
...or should that be
'makes a fly for it'? The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?:
Using an infinite lives cheat and following a video
solution online.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once the cavern is open you can escape. The end shows
the bird flying out of the cavern to freedom into the
night sky. A small message on the ground below reads 'THE
HAPPY END'.
