Webmaster: I haven't played this corker of a game since way back in 1985 - 22 years ago! It's still fun to play and certainly deserved all the credit and adulation that it received back then.

Thanks to Matt Rogers we can all see what actually happens at the end of the game ...

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? MATT: "Okedoke. This is one I always wanted to complete. I managed to get to the final dragon without cheating, but it was ridiculously hard, so I relented and used Zzap's unlimited everything pokes."

SO WHAT HAPPENS? Once you've shot at the dragon a few hundred times ("well it felt like that at the time!"), the dragon dies and a man in a black suit flies onto the screen and reveals an egg in the palm of his hand! The egg hatches and a small, cute dragon appears; it smiles and then says, "The End."

COMMENTS: I was quite surprised to see this type of ending: cute, with animation and humour. I was expecting something boring like, 'WELL DONE', but who knows what the programmers were thinking when they decided to opt for this ending.

Anyway, it's worth a look, but could have done with an ending tune.
