It's a shame that Firebird Software felt that they
had to release full-price games; it made some of these
titles look inferior compared to their budget releases.
I think that Druid 2 could have been a very successful
budget release - I know I would have purchased a copy.
Anyway, £1.99 or £9.99, the ending is always the same
...

The druid completed
his final task ...

... and teleports
outside the castle.

The castle fades
away.

Darkness ...

... turns to light.

Daylight is restored.

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?
I'm a serious cheat. I didn't bother playing through
this one; I just used a trainer by Remember, which
allowed me to jump straight to the end sequence.
SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Our intrepid Druid is teleported
to the outside of the castle. The castle then fades away
and daylight is restored.
COMMENTS: It really is an OK-ish ending, but the
thing is, it's very much like the first Druid game and
doesn't really improve. Like the first Druid, it could
have done with some ending credits, storyline and a
great ending tune. The programmers seemed to stick with
the same old format.
FINAL SAY:
They could have improved on the first game, but they
didn't bother :(
