Completed by
Matt Rogers
Here's a blast from the past courtesy of team
member, Matt Rogers. For some strange reason we had the
ending to Druid 2 ages before this ending! Don't ask
how.
I remember my neighbour
buying the original to this game and coming straight
round my house to play it on my machine first. I wasn't
really impressed and it took me a few weeks to really
get into the game. Unfortunately, we never managed to
complete it and so we thank Matt for finally reaching
the end of the game ...
MATT: "Never
much of a fan of Druid - I think the novelty of having
golem running around with you soon wears off and the
sprite to background detection is annoying - great
loading screen and title tune, though! God knows what
you have to do so I cheated full-bore with the Remember
crack and just went everywhere and killed everything -
turns out you need to kill four giant fire-spitting
skulls. Enjoy!"

MONSTERS! RUN!

Phew! They're
dissolving away (",)

All the badness is
going ... going ... going ...

... GONE!

The End.
HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?
Judging by the spells and energy that Matt seems to
have had whilst obtaining the ending, it appears that he
is a complete and utter CHEAT! That's my boy (",)
Actually, I know that REMEMBER created a cracking
training for this game (cheats galore).
SO WHAT HAPPENS?:
Once you have completed the final level, the demons
appear for the final time but then start to disintegrate
along with the castle/dungeon scenery. The Druid finally
ends up in an idyllic country surrounding with all the
demons and badness gone. The final screen shows a
demon's face (in white) with the words, "GAME OVER. YOUR
CLASS IS LIGHT MASTER. ENTER YOUR INITIALS."
COMMENTS: It's
quite a satisfactory ending. The only downside is the
lack of storyline and game ending tune.
FINAL SAY:
Give it a go (",)
