Completed by Matt Rogers

Webmaster: Matt is our No.1 Contributor. He seems to have a hunger for game endings and has certainly provided us with a few cracking game endings over the past year or so.

Matt: Okedoke. Quite fancied doing this one again - pretty easy with a Zzap walkthrough and save-states!

Our Hero bides his time.

The dragon is aware that something is about to happen!

Our intrepid hero jumps towards the dragon.

He plunges his sword into the dragon's heart.

The dragon's end is near.

Our hero is successful in slaying the dragon.

He jumps towards the princess ...

... and frees her.

Love is once again restored. The End.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED? Matt didn't really cheat, though he did take advantage of save-states (",)

SO WHAT HAPPENS? Once you have reached the end of the road (literally), our intrepid hero takes the plunge and jumps onto the dragon. He whips out his sword, and with a true warrior gesture, thrusts it into the dragon's heart. After many moments of over acting, the dragon slumps to the ground, leaving our hero to pounce forward unto the princess. Love is restored, leaving all to celebrate the final death of the dragon.

COMMENTS: This really is a cool and comical ending. It was well executed (no pun intended) and certainly fits the style of the game. The end tune works really well and adds to the atmosphere of the ending.

COMMENTS: MATT: I quite like the end - it's not the greatest animation in the world but it's a nice touch when Singe finally goes down. Shame about Daphne's sprite - looks like she was knocked up in 10 minutes, and she's bigger than Dirk!!

FINAL SAY: It's worth watching over and over again (",)

G.E. RATING: 9 / 10
