This game ending has been in the OFFLINE ARCHIVE for some time and was requested by GUMPY who is a member of the LEMON 64 FORUM. So Gumpy, just for you, here is the ending to Defender of the Crown ...

And so the story ends ...

... and the final chapter comes to a close.

HOW WAS IT COMPLETED?: 'I BLOODY CHEATED, OKAY?'

SO WHAT HAPPENS?: Once you have defeated the last enemy lord, you are greeted with a 'FINAL VICTORY' message screen (see 1st & 2nd screen shots above) which completes the story and announces that you are to be made KING OF ENGLAND - what if you are a female playing the game?! - DOH!

Once the message is complete, the screen changes to a SUPERBLY drawn picture looking out from the castle, which is followed by the word, 'THE END'; all accompanied by some fitting music.

COMMENTS: I wasn't really a fan of this game but I was aware of the superb graphics, which is why I gave it a chance and decided to grab the ending - glad I did now :)

The message completes the game, the graphics look GREAT and the music is nice (by Richard Joseph).

FINAL SAY: Give it a go, even if you aren't a fan of the game.
